Cat Call
In my five months here, I have already gotten used to the unsolicited remarks that men make on the street. It happens somewhat frequently, especially compared to L.A. where it never happened. (Then again, I never walked anywhere in L.A. Just like the song says.)
The comment I seem to inspire the most is “sexy”. (Don’t ask me why. Especially since I have been forced to wear closed-toe shoes for the last five months.) I don’t really mind the remarks – they give me a giggle and hey, a compliment is a compliment.
But today I got the most interesting one yet. I was out at lunch and, hand to God, this guy said “nice posture” to me. Nice posture? Well, I guess I’ll take that one too.
